About Art Psychotherapy
Art Psychotherapy is a therapeutic method useful for people of all ages, especially when speaking about and processing feelings seems too hard to put into words. Through artmaking, we can discover new ways to process complex emotions; develop self-awareness, and personal growth.
I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist based in East London, with experience in adult mental health, end-of-life care, bereavement, and education settings. My practice is informed by ongoing CPD, group support, and my own art practice. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome, and no previous experience with art is needed.
Sessions may take place face-to-face, online, or in group settings. In therapy, we take time to explore what emerges in each session — both in the art and in conversation — and to reflect on how this connects to life experiences. Together, we may notice patterns that no longer serve you, and work toward new ways of being. By fostering a healthier relationship with yourself, art therapy can also support growth in your relationships and your wider social environment.
