About Art Psychotherapy
Art Psychotherapy is a therapeutic method useful for people of all ages, especially when our feelings seem too hard to put into words. Through art making, we can discover new ways to process complex emotions; develop self-awareness, and personal growth.
I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist with experience in child and adult mental health, end-of-life care, bereavement, and education settings. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome, and no previous experience with art is needed.
Sessions may take place face-to-face, online, or in group settings. In therapy, we take time to explore what emerges in each session — both in the art and in conversation — and to reflect on how this connects to life experiences. Together, we may notice patterns that no longer serve you, and work toward new ways of being. By fostering a healthier relationship with yourself, art therapy can support growth in your personal relationships and your relationship to the world around you.
I am currently practising in both E17 and SE5.
